Trans Canada Trade Lands Rodewald In MJ

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that the team has acquired 19-year-old forward Jack Rodewald and a conditional pick in 2016 from the Regina Pats in exchange for 18-year-old forward Carter Hansen.

Rodewald, 6’2” 195lbs, is from Winnipeg, Manitoba and entering his third season in the Western Hockey League.  Last season he had seven goals and 14 points in 56 games.  Rodewald has 13 goals and 26 points in 126 regular season games.

Hansen was originally drafted by the Warriors in 2010.  Last season he had seven goals and 16 points in 69 games. 

Rodewald will be with the Warriors Friday when they open the 2013-2014 WHL regular season at home against the Brandon Wheat Kings.  Tickets are available at the Mosaic Place Box Office or online at mjwarriors.com
