Warriors sign five prospects

Moose Jaw Warriors

Coming out of 2018 Training Camp, General Manager Alan Millar announced that five prospects have committed to the Warriors and the WHL with the signing of a Standard Player Agreement.

LUCAS BRENTON

Lucas Brenton (2003), LD, from East St. Paul, MB has committed to the Warriors & the WHL by signing a WHL SPA.

Brenton, 6’2”, 170lbs, was selected in the 6th RND (111th overall) at the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.  Last season w/ the Winnipeg Sharks (WBD1) he had 9-15-24pts & 31PIM in 32GP.

“Lucas is a big, rangy, young player with lots of potential. He has good hockey sense and competes very hard. We are very pleased that Lucas and his family have committed to the Warriors and the WHL for both his hockey and academic goals.” – GM Alan Millar

 

COLE JORDAN

Cole Jordan (2002), LD, from Brandon has committed to the Warriors & the WHL by signing a WHL SPA.

Jordan, 5’11”, 160lbs, was listed by the Warriors in January 2018.  Last season he played with the Brandon AAA Wheat Kings (MMAAAHL) and had 3-15-18pts & 43PIM in 46GP.

“Jordan is a player who has made tremendous strides in his game since he attended our camp as an invite a year ago. He has good puck skills and plays a smart game. BRADEN MILLER

Braden Miller (2002), LD, from Sherwood Park, AB has committed to the Warriors & the WHL by signing a WHL SPA.

Miller, 5’11, 160lbs, was listed by the Warriors after their 2017 Training Camp.  Last season he played with Sherwood Park (AMMHL) and had 4-9-13pts in 28GP.

CADE HAYES

Cade Hayes (2002), LC, from Eatonia, SK has committed to the Warriors & the WHL by signing a WHL SPA.

Hayes, 5’9”, 180lbs, was selected in the 8th round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.  As a 15-year-old last season with Tisdale (SMAAAHL), he led the Trojans in scoring w/ 19-17-36pts in 44GP.  He was tied for 2nd in SMAAAHL rookie scoring.

JESSE MISTELBACHER

Jesse Mistelbacher (2001), LC, from Iles Des Chenes, MB has committed to the Warriors & the WHL by signing a WHL SPA.

Mistelbacher, 6’0”, 165lbs, was listed by the Warriors October 2017.  Last season he was 2nd on the Eastman Selects (MMAAAHL) in scoring w/ 15-32-47pts in 48GP.
