Warriors select Wallstedt in Import Draft

With the 46th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2019 CHL Import Draft, the Moose Jaw Warriors selected Swedish goaltender Jesper Wallstedt (2002).

Wallstedt, 6’3”, 205lbs, played with Lulea HF J20 in Sweden’s SuperElit league and in 21 games posted a 2.65gaa and a .901sv%.  He’s represented Sweden on the international stage twice in the last year, he won a silver medal at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and was apart of their gold medal team at the 2019 IIHF World Under-18 Championships held back in April.  He also won a bronze medal with Sweden at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

2019 – 2020 season tickets and flex packs are available for purchase now at the Warriors Office located inside Mosaic Place.  The early bird deadline to purchase your tickets has been extended to Tuesday, July 2nd at 5pm.
