Warriors add to their defence

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced the acquisition of 19-year-old defenseman Brandon Schuldhaus and a 4th round pick in 2020 from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for 19-year-old defenseman Colin Paradis, a 2nd round pick in 2019, and a 2nd round pick in 2020.

“Schuldhaus is a big, strong guy who plays a hard solid game.  This is the type of player we felt we needed and fits in very well with the make up of our team,” commented Warriors General Manager Alan Millar.  “Colin Paradis was a good Warrior, an excellent young man, and we wish him the best with the Rebels.”

Schuldhaus, 6’4”, 205lbs, is from Calgary and in his fourth season in the Western Hockey League.  In 37 games this season he has 12 points (all assists) and 29 penalty minutes.  In 161 career WHL games with Red Deer and Seattle, Schuldhaus has four goals, 28 assists, 32 points, and 115 penalty minutes.

Schuldhaus is expected to join the Warriors on their current road trip through Alberta.
