TRADE: Warriors acquire Ormsby

In their second trade of the day, Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced the acquisition of 19-year-old forward Luke Ormsby from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 6th round pick in 2022.

Ormsby, RW, 5’10”, 180lbs, is from Everett, Washington and has three goals and six points in 25 games this season with the Silvertips.  Ormsby was originally drafted by Seattle in the 9th round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft and was acquired by Everett from the Thunderbirds last season.  In 150 regular season games he has 11 goals, 13 assists, and 24 points.

Ormsby was a member of the Seattle Thunderbirds 2017 WHL Championship team and played in all six games of the 2018 WHL Championship series with Everett.
