Firkus’ Michigan wins Plays of the Year bracket

It was a goal that sent Mosaic Place into a frenzy and helped propel the Moose Jaw Warriors to a first-round series win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Jagger Firkus’ Michigan goal in Game 1 of the 2022 WHL Playoffs is the winner of Play of the Year for the Warriors.

The play prevailed in an all-Firkus final in the Plays of the Year bracket, topping the 17-year-old’s other goal against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, 94 per cent to six.

Firkus is a projected first round pick in this week’s 2022 NHL Draft.

If you want to see Firkus in action this season, season tickets for the 2022-23 season are on sale now at the Warriors’ office and Mosaic Place Box Office.
