Woo & Burzan headed to Top Prospects Game

Moose Jaw Warriors Jett Woo and Luka Burzan have been selected to compete at the 2018 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Guelph, Ontario on Thursday January 25, 2018.

Burzan was selected in the 1st round, 6th overall, at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.  Through 33 games this season Burzan has four goals, 11 assists, and 15 points.  Last year as a 16-year-old rookie Burzan had 14 goals, 13 assists, and 27 points in 66 games.

Woo was selected in the 1st round, 4th overall, at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.  In 18 games this season Woo has six goals, 11 assists, and 17 points.  Last season as a 16-year-old rookie Woo had five goals, 17 assists, and 22 points in 65 games.

Woo and Burzan both captured gold with Team Canada at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup and were also selected to take part in the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

In total 40 players from across the CHL received invitations to take part in the Top Prospects Game, Burzan and Woo are two of nine players from the WHL named to the game.
