With a ton of energy in the stands to start the game the Moose Jaw Warriors had a tough time generating offense and fell 6-0 in Game 7 to the Swift Current Broncos.

Moose Jaw had good energy at times throughout the opening period and they were able to generate some attack but they couldn’t finish on their chances.

At 12:45 the Broncos won a draw in the Moose Jaw zone and worked the puck to Colby Sissons at the left line, his shot went off of a Warriors stick and bounced over the goal line to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead.

Swift Current’s fore-check was able to generate turnovers throughout the period and with 35 seconds left in the period one of those turnovers turned into a Glenn Gawdin goal to give the Broncos a 2-0 lead.

Early in the second period the Broncos came out and capitalized with goals from Tyler Steenbergen and Glenn Gawdin to take a commanding 4-0 lead.

The Broncos added two more in the third period and went on to a 6-0 win which ended the Warriors season as they took this second round series in seven games.
