Hartje commits to Warriors & the WHL

Chase Hartje from Bemidji, MN has committed to the Warriors & the Western Hockey League by signing a WHL SPA.

Hartje (1999), 6’0”, 180lbs, played high school hockey last season in Minnesota with the Bemidji Lumberjacks and finished tied for second in team scoring with four goals, 21 assists, and 25 points in 25 games.  In 2015-2016 with Bemidji he had two goals, 13 assists, and 15 points in 25 games.

“Chase is a skilled, puck moving defenseman who plays a smart, competitive game. He’s a very good skater with great mobility,” commented Warriors General Manager Alan Millar.  “We realize there will be an adjustment for Chase from Minnesota High School to the WHL, but he is a player with very good potential and we expect him to contribute to our 2017-2018 club.  We’re very pleased to receive this commitment from Chase and his family.”
