Almeida picked up by Penguins

Justin Almeida became the second Moose Jaw Warrior to be selected at the 2018 NHL Entry Draft in Dallas when the Pittsburgh Penguins called his name in the 5th round making him the 129th overall pick.

Almeida finished last season with 43 goals, 55 assists, and 98 points and was third in Warriors scoring and finished 10th in WHL scoring.  During his time with the Warriors Justin has played in 105 games and has 50 goals, 63 assists, and 113 points.

He was drafted 5th overall at the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft and in three years in the WHL he has 56 goals, 76 assists, and 132 points in 192 games with Moose Jaw and Prince George.
