Alarie commits to Warriors & WHL

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that 2018 1st round pick Eric Alarie has committed to the Warriors and the Western Hockey League with the signing of a Standard Player Agreement.

Alarie, 6’1”, 191lbs, is from Winnipeg and was drafted in the 1st round, 22nd overall, at the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft in Red Deer.

“We are very pleased that Eric and his family have chosen the Warriors and the Western Hockey League as he pursues his hockey and academic goals,” commented Warriors General Manager Alan Millar.

“Eric brings a big, strong, hard game to our club with a very good skill set.  We are excited about Eric’s future with the Warriors,” added Millar.

Last season he played with the Rink Hockey Academy and in 30 games he had 28 goals, 27 assists, and 55 points.  In the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) Bantam Prep playoffs he had one goal, six assists, and seven points in five games.

Alarie recently attended the Warriors 2018 Development Camp in June and will return to Moose Jaw later this month for the Warriors 2018 Training Camp.
